Clothes sometimes become “armor” that represents who we are.
In this era of ever-accelerating speed, we are forced to make decisions, choices, and wounds on a daily basis, and we must move forward.
As a manager, designer, and above all, as a father raising a son with disabilities, I myself have had to stop and hesitate many times before reaching this point in my life.

Samurai Mode Shirt II was created for Samurais’ living in this modern age.

Since the first “Samurai Mode Shirt” was released in 2018, we have evolved it to be more functional and more beautiful in response to the feedback from many customers.

■ Silhouette as dignified as a sword
A sharp waistline, like when you fasten a kimono obi.
It is not just a beauty.
Even when your mind is in turmoil, when you wear this shirt, you will naturally stand taller.
The deep V collar changes even the expression of the wearer, like a mirror reflecting the spirit and determination within.
The angle of the front ties and the position of the strings were also prototyped over and over again, in pursuit of a balance that would not collapse when moving, yet would not be too tight.

■ Focus on Comfort and the Environment
Because we want you to incorporate this into your daily life, we have paid particular attention to comfort.
The two strings that fasten at the waist allow you to finely adjust the size, so that it fits your body but does not constrict.
Even if you wear it for a long time, there is no stress, so that not only your back but also your mind will be lightened.
For the cufflinks, we used natural shell buttons instead of plastic.
It may be a small choice, but I believe that the accumulation of such choices will create the environment of the future.

The “Samurai Mode Shirt II” is available in several variations.

KASANE（重ね）
This is a shirt with a layered collar that allows you to express your own individuality through the combination of colors and laces around the collar. This shirt allows you to play with it as if you were arranging the collar of a kimono.

Chill
The linen-like, dry-touch fabric is a relaxing and easy to throw on even in the hot season. For holidays, for travel, with your imagination.

YUZEN
This special shirt is wet-drawn by a yuzen craftsman in Kyoto, and each dragon and cherry blossom is hand-painted and inhabited by hand.　This is truly a piece of clothing for those who live with art.

■ Clothes that we want to wear 10 years from now
We do not release a large number of new products each season.
We work on a single design for years, making improvements to it before finally releasing it.
This is because I myself sympathize with people who choose clothes based on their beliefs, not on trends.
Samurai Mode Shirt II is truly a “garment we made together” that has evolved based on reflection and learning from the first Shirt I, as well as your feedback.
As the clothes are loved for a long time, the operation of the sewing factory can be stabilized and the burden on the environment can be reduced as a result.
We believe that such a “cycle of kindness” can be achieved in clothing production.
