Hello everyone. This is Takahiro Sato, a.k.a. Tak, the designer.

We are pleased to announce that we have completed shipping the Kimono gowns to our crowdfunding customers who have recently given us a lot of support.
Because the Kimono gowns are made of long fabric, it took an unexpectedly long time to finish pressing (the process of ironing and pressing before shipping), and the veterans of the concierge team worked hard on weekends to get it done.
Thanks in part to this, we have been receiving comments of delight from customers who have received our products.
The new symbol of KUDEN by TAKAHIRO SATO, "KUDEN itoguchi," which was launched this year, has been very well received, and the staff artisans are excited to hear that people are saying they will keep the threads and wear them with care.
"KUDEN itoguchi" will be used for new models in the future too, and we are planning to use it for existing products at some point in the future due to inventory and other reasons.

Well, this week we have set a date for a new clothing shoot. We will be shooting in Tokyo during September with Mr. Toyotake Sakijudayu, who is in Tokyo for a performance.
(We are planning a photo shoot with Ms.Taro, who also modeled for the Kimono gowns.)

New clothing to be photographed are,
●Kimono coat *tentative name (trench coat fabric and raincoat fabric version of Kimono gown)
●Japanese work jacket
●Monpe pants
●Japanese set-up (stretch jacket and hakama pants)
are planned.

We asked Sankei Crea, a small but very skilled sewing factory, to sew samples for the costumes.

Sankei Crea is a women-led sewing company in Soma City, Fukushima, in the midst of reconstruction from the earthquake and tsunami.

The person who introduced me to Sankei Crea was Ms. Kogure, president of Marron, who was in charge of KUDEN's first clothing line and is now bankrupt.

Since its start, Sankei Crea has had nearly 70 employees and has been in the business of sewing jackets and other garments for luxury brands and major department stores.
However, like Marron, they could no longer stand the fast design cycles in the apparel industry in recent years, and the unfair compression of prices and sewing wages based on the assumption of sales.
So in recent years, the company has drastically reduced its workforce and downsized its operations to the present.

Sankei Crea is also a wonderful company that is trying to support the reconstruction of Fukushima by creating employment for women through new initiatives and challenges in the apparel industry.

The skills of the company, which has sewn clothes for luxury brands and department stores that everyone knows, are very solid, and the workmanship of the samples we asked them to sew for us is very beautiful.
