In this mail magazine, 【KUDEN by TAKAHIRO SATO】 will send you topics such as Japanese culture including kimono, fashion, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes stories of creators every Friday, written by fashion designer Takahiro Sato.I became a fashion designer at the age of 43 to create a place to work with my son who has a disability, and I am challenging myself as a creator and manager to go overseas. I will share with you my personal viewpoints and perspectives that I cannot easily share on my website.

■ 1. Catch up Hello everyone. This is Takahiro Sato, aka Tak, the designer. I drew today's recent update by handwriting. Please see this as a rough illustration of an announcement, not a design drawing. (*Details may differ from the final design drawing.)
This is an announcement of the debut of the new model.
We are currently in the process of final selection of patterns and fabrics so that we can deliver KUDEN clothes that are stretchy, easy to move in, easy to care for, and can be worn every day.
Functional set-ups are appearing in every brand these days. I think the reason for this is the growing awareness among customers that today's busy people don't want to worry too much about what to wear to work every day. I, too, would like to have a set-up that is easy to set up for child-rearing, family care, and work! But Many of the set-ups from all brands have similar designs, and I couldn't feel any sense of fun. Then, I thought, let's make a set-up that I want and that kimono and Japanese mode lovers can wear every day! That was the origin of the idea.
For the Office Style set-up, we have designed a new pair of pants with a Hakama motif that can be used in everyday life. Samurai Mode Pants II are also very popular, but we wanted to respond to customers who want to wear KUDEN's clothes more casually, not only on special occasions, such as going out.
I am also planning to introduce a Japanese work jacket that can be worn not only in the office, but also outdoors, and a Monpe of my own design. I designed these jackets with the idea that I would like to wear them for work, play, outdoor activities, and farm work.
We are planning to release the product through crowdfunding around July, and we hope you will look forward to it.
We are also preparing to announce an order event for Hakkake skirts and a new blue-gray color for linen light jackets next week.

【The World of Ningyo Joruri Bunraku - a Traditional Japanese Performing Art -】 Ningyo Joruri Bunraku.Ningyo joruri (puppet theater) was created by combining joruri, the art of storytelling in which stories are told and listened to with instruments such as the shamisen and biwa, with the art of puppet performance.
※Ningyo joruri was born from the joruri, a form of oral literature, music, or performing arts that originated in medieval Japan. ※Joruri is a type of music for the theater in which the shamisen is used as an accompaniment and the tayu recites lyrics.
There are three roles that make up Ningyo Joruri Bunraku puppet theater.They are called “Sangyo". "Sangyo" is a trinity of comprehensive entertainment consisting of the tayu, shamisen player, and puppeteer.
Mr. Sakiju Toyotake, KUDEN's Global Ambassador, is the "Tayu" in the above. We introduce him in a three-part series, including a video interview on why he became a tayu.
