Made to order
KUDEN 01 garments are made to order. We confirm your final size by email after you order, and production begins once you have approved it. Vintage haori from haoru by KUDEN are one-of-a-kind pieces held in stock and shipped directly.
From order to delivery
For made-to-order garments:
- Order through the cart. Product and colour are fixed at this point; size is provisional.
- We email you to confirm your final size, the applicable terms and an estimated shipping window.
- You reply to approve the final specification.
- Production starts once both your approval and payment capture are complete.
- Shipping is normally around three months from the start of production. Fabric sourcing and artisan availability can extend this.

Prices and tax
All prices are shown in Japanese yen (JPY). For orders shipped within Japan, prices include Japanese consumption tax.
Payment
You can pay with any method shown at Shopify Checkout. Available methods depend on your destination and on the payment provider. See Payments.
Shipping, duties and taxes
Made-to-order garments are sold only to countries and regions where KUDEN can cover shipping, import duties and taxes. In those regions we do not charge anything further after checkout.
For Vintage items, shipping is shown at checkout according to your destination. Import duties, taxes and customs handling are paid by you on arrival.

Changes and cancellation
Product and colour cannot be changed after you order. Size can be changed until you approve the final specification. After approval we cannot accept customer-initiated cancellation, changes or refunds.
