In this mail magazine, 【KUDEN by TAKAHIRO SATO】 will send you topics such as Japanese culture including kimono, fashion, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes stories of creators every Friday, written by fashion designer Takahiro Sato.I became a fashion designer at the age of 43 to create a place to work with my son who has a disability, and I am challenging myself as a creator and manager to go overseas. Hello everyone. It's Designer Tak, Takahiro Sato. Last Saturday I had a photo shoot at a studio in Omotesando, Tokyo. The theme of this shoot was " Silence and Motion".
This time, we asked photographer Mr. Arai to take pictures. The finished photos are just like the "Dynamic kimono clothes!" Among the photographers I have worked with, Mr. Arai is so good at multi-lighting with lots of strobes that I call him a strobe wizard. (I always learn from his professional skills on shoots!) He captured the dynamism of the models that only multi-lighting could bring to light in his photographs. Mr.Sakiju also left the National Theatre at the end of the first part of the show and rushed to the filming, and despite her busy schedule of rushing to the third part of the performance after the filming, she enjoyed the filming in a refreshingly relaxed manner. Erika is a 2022 Miss Universe Japan semi-finalist. She is also a pole dancer and showed us her dynamic posing. Despite her cool exterior, she is usually innocent and charming. My relationship with Erika started when Flavio, CEO and photographer of AVESSA MAGAZINE, and I became friends and he agreed to feature KUDEN in his fashion magazine and introduced me as a fashion writer who can speak Japanese and English.
KUDEN has come a long way through relationships with many different people. Our dream is to gather all KUDEN models from around the world for a photo shoot.
The photos taken will also be shown to our mail magazine readers in advance. We will continue to propose new styles.

【The World of Ningyo Joruri Bunraku - a Traditional Japanese Performing Art -】
ingyo Joruri Bunraku.Ningyo joruri (puppet theater) was created by combining joruri, the art of storytelling in which stories are told and listened to with instruments such as the shamisen and biwa, with the art of puppet performance.
※Ningyo joruri was born from the joruri, a form of oral literature, music, or performing arts that originated in medieval Japan. ※Joruri is a type of music for the theater in which the shamisen is used as an accompaniment and the tayu recites lyrics.
There are three roles that make up Ningyo Joruri Bunraku puppet theater. They are called “Sangyo". "Sangyo" is a trinity of comprehensive entertainment consisting of the tayu, shamisen player, and puppeteer.
Mr. Sakiju Toyotake, KUDEN's Global Ambassador, is the "Tayu" in the above. We introduce him in a three-part series, including a video interview on why he became a tayu.
In addition, the Tokyo Bunraku performance, in which Sakijutayu will appear, will start on the 11th.

Ep.05 The steel katana 02
Harada asked Sanjuro for an explanation in rapid order, but then turned his eyes toward Takanobu.
He had not yet told anyone about the gang member who called himself Ichigo and the katana that Takanobu was carrying.
Takanobu stopped him from telling anyone about it.
Sanjuro answered Harada's question.
“The mysterious power...yes. Then let's have a look at it in a real way. Welcome the three of you.”
Arthur, Soji, and Angie, who were sitting beside him, got up from their seats and stood in front of the screen.
"Huh? What? You guys have it? No kidding. I've never heard of it.”
Without answering Harada's question, Arthur takes off the katana from his waist and pulls it out of its sheath in front of Harada with both hands.
He then reinserted the blade into the sheath and handed his own katana to Harada.
Harada hurriedly catch the katana.
“It's my katana. Pull it out.”
“What?”
Harada is confused, but Arthur urges him with his chin as if to say, "Just pull it out. "
Harada regains his composure and pulls out the katana.
“Well, this katana is a steel katana. This is the true katana…”
He closes his eyes, focuses his attention, opens his eyes and pulls out the katana...
"Ugh..."
“Can't pull it out!”
Even Harada, the leader of the tenth squad, could not pull out the katana.
Arthur took the katana from Harada and lightly pulled it out of its sheath.
“This one chooses its Lord..."
Beside Arthur, Soji and Angie innocently pull their own katana out of its sheath and look at Harada with a grin.
“You guys too?"
“Sorry Harada-san!"
Soji replies innocently.
Angie also hands the katana to Harada and confirms that he can't pull it out.
“Right? Right? you can't pull it out, can you? It's mine!"
Angie smiles and take the katana back from Harada with great care.
“I never knew... why don't you tell me about it, guys?"
Harada was surprised, but Sanjuro continues to explain.
