In this mail magazine, 【KUDEN by TAKAHIRO SATO】 will send you topics such as Japanese culture including kimono, fashion, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes stories of creators every Friday, written by fashion designer Takahiro Sato.I became a fashion designer at the age of 43 to create a place to work with my son who has a disability, and I am challenging myself as a creator and manager to go overseas. ■ 2. Catch up

Hello everyone. This is Takahiro Sato, a.k.a. Tak, the designer.

On April 11, I attended the entrance ceremony for my son's special needs school.I attended the graduation ceremony with my staff wearing a 3-piece Samurai Mode Jacket, Pants II, and Shirt II, but for the entrance ceremony, I wore a Jacket and Shirt II because my son was unstable due to anxiety about his new life, and I wanted to focus on mobility so that he could run no matter what.My son, who is not good at environmental changes, was unstable, but he did his best and was able to attend the ceremony without incident. He made new friends and had a new homeroom teacher, which made his parents nervous. It has been 9 months since I started raising my son. Every time I look at his back, I see how much he has grown.

The following photo shoot was taken by my son with what a smartphone! The expression on my face is a little nervous when he take his picture.

We continue to challenge crowdfunding for Samurai Mode Kimono Gown. We don't have much money for advertising, so we are struggling on Kickstarter, but on CAMPFIRE in Japan, the amount of support is about to reach 1,000,000 yen. We are truly grateful to those who have supported us and those who have shared and word-of-mouth about our project. Thank you very much!

To tell you the truth, the fee for crowdfunding is about 20% in Japan and about 14% overseas (including the settlement fee for both). (Depending on the amount achieved, we will be in the red...) Even so, we are taking on this challenge because we want as many people as possible to know about KUDEN by TAKAHIRO SATO's efforts.

We would love to have your help. It would be sincerely appreciated if you could share this information and word of mouth to your friends. We would be very happy to receive your further support. We will accept your support with great care, and sincerely devote ourselves to our dream of creating a place to work with our son with disabilities, and to have a small Japanese and Western dressmaking factory in Nikko.

The main topics of rinlife radio, which is hosted by staff member Sena, will be interviews and special features. As an offshoot, I will talk about design in a relaxed manner as Tak DESIGNER'S VOICE. The first program is about the design of Kimono Gown. Please listen to it in your spare time or in between housework or traveling. For those of you overseas, I will be translating the content into text next week.
