“KASANE-Eri”(Layered collar) is small item for traditional kimono that makes a kimono look as if it is layered to enjoy the layering of colors.
Kasane means putting on something on other things in Japanese.
It also contains the wish that "many layers of happiness will come to you.” I design with this wish, come pleasure to people who wear this shirt too. This Samurai Mode Shirt II "KASANE" is designed so that you can easily enjoy one of the joy of traditional kimono even with a single shirt.

So biggest feature of Samurai Mode Shirt II “KASANE” is collar. There are Layered collar type and lace collar type. You can enjoy combination of colors / lace on shirt, it’s also joy of traditional kimono.
We have some color combination for this first manufacture and 1 lace collar for each White/Black shirt body.
You can select favorite one according to your outfit style!

Design to put a good point of kimono on modern clothes. Compared with version 1, Refine the silhouette to look the body line more sharp. Express the sharp waist line like when we wear kimono with Obi belt. Make more solid and sharp impression like katana for front, To design for hard to open the front, make pattern and design once again. We can say what we motivate when we wear is just Katana.
This new item "KASANE" is same body design with usual Samurai Mode Shirt II but have more enjoyable collar.

We adopt kimono collar to modern European basic shirt. From far view, it looks basic cotton shirt so it's suitable for both formal and casual style. V-necked collar make look beauty.

You can wear without heavy fastening feel compared to traditional kimono by 2 adjustable strings on your waste around.
Even it's a little but as our ethical&Sustainable approach, we adopt the shell button to avoid the plastics.
■History of Samurai Mode Shirt Series
KUDEN doesn’t like disposal design that forced sowing factory for unfair low wage because of pricing assumed on sale, small profits and quick returns due to brand. Traditional kimono is one design , same pattern but can enjoy variation by changing fabric material, color and textile.
So we stop the seasonal collection and release the item only when we can design item that we can love more than 10 years. And keep produce them for a long time.
Samurai Mode Shirt was born in 2018 and updated to version II.
This KASANE is new version of Shirt II.
