1. Order and point of payment

Made-to-order garments are ordered through the ordinary Shopify cart and checkout. The contract is formed when you complete your order at checkout. The product and colour are fixed at the time of ordering; the size is confirmed finally by email after the order.

With cards and other methods that support manual capture, an authorisation is placed at the time of ordering, and after you approve the final specification by email KUDEN captures the payment within the authorisation period. If the final specification cannot be settled within the authorisation period, we void the authorisation.

If payment capture fails, we do not begin production. We cancel the original order and send a payment link for a replacement order recording the same specification and the terms applicable at that time. Completing checkout on the replacement order forms a new contract. We re-send the final specification email under the replacement order number and receive a new "I confirm" reply from you. Production begins after both payment capture on the replacement order and re-approval are complete.

With Solana Pay and other immediate payment methods, payment completes at the time of ordering. Cancellation and refund terms before final specification approval are set out in our Made to Order, Final Specification, Changes and Cancellation policy and our Returns, Refunds and Defects policy.

Vintage items can be purchased through the ordinary Shopify cart and checkout.

2. Payment methods

You can choose from the payment methods shown at Shopify Checkout. Which methods are available depends on the destination country or region and on the payment provider's configuration.

For Solana Pay we intend to accept USDC and SOL. The crypto assets and networks actually available are governed by what Solana Pay displays at the time of payment.

3. Crypto payments

Where you pay in SOL, the converted amount is governed by the amount that Shopify Checkout and Solana Pay record as a successful payment. KUDEN does not set or guarantee its own conversion rate.

We accept only transactions that Shopify and Solana Pay record as a successful payment of the order amount. Underpayments, expired sessions, and direct transfers to a wallet not designated by KUDEN are not applied to the order. In those cases we send a new payment link.

With Solana Pay, a transaction fee arises at the time of payment, and a conversion fee may arise where the asset you pay with is converted into the asset KUDEN receives. For a cancellation at your request before final specification approval, we deduct from the refund those costs actually incurred on that transaction and not returned to KUDEN. Rates change, so they are not fixed in these terms.

4. Fraud and related matters

Where there is suspected fraud, a sanctions or import/export restriction, or a material mismatch in identity or delivery information, KUDEN may hold production or cancel the order in accordance with applicable law.
