The Social Challenge of “Life After Parents” for Children with Disabilities
rinlife Magazine is a project conceived by Takahiro Sato, founder of the fashion brand “KUDEN by TAKAHIRO SATO,” based on his experience as the father of a son with intellectual disabilities and autism.
In Japan, children with disabilities receive a form of public support until the age of 18.
However, after graduating from school, individuals transition into the limited framework of “employment support.” Furthermore, the existing systems alone are insufficient in both quality and quantity to support life after the parents pass away.
This magazine was launched to address the issue of “after the parents are gone” not as an personal problem, but as a structural challenge for society itself.
The Two High Walls We Hope to Solve
Mental Barriers(Lack of public understanding)
Welfare is often perceived as a world disconnected from those not directly involved, making it difficult for societal attention to reach it.
Economic Barrier(Funding Shortfall)
Reliance on government subsidies and domestic economic conditions, coupled with a lack of mechanisms to generate self-sustaining profits.

Our Vision
rinlife Magazine is a challenge to solve problems that existing welfare frameworks cannot fully address, using the power of business and media.
What began as one father's vow has now become an open “Co-Creation” project to build a society where everyone can live with dignity until the end.
Fueled by respect for Japanese culture and creative passion, we will demonstrate a new form of disability welfare to the world.
