Hello everyone, it's Designer Tak, Takahiro Sato.
My son is now on summer vacation, and I am busy with work and childcare. Since there are no school lunches, I have to worry about preparing lunch every day. If it were just me, anything would be fine.... Fathers and mothers struggling with their children on summer vacation. Let's do our best to get through this together.
July 22 marks exactly one year since my son came to live with me in Nikko, and it is also the day of my mother's death, who passed away 15 years ago.
Mother and son have never met.
However, before my son was born, my mother dreamed that she was holding a baby in her arms.
It is a coincidence that I feel there must be a mysterious connection between the two.

Now, we have set a schedule to debut the new model, the production of which has been reported in this mail magazine. (This is just a schedule and is subject to change)

Hakama pants, which had been in the process of being toileted, need a little more design and construction work, such as a belt to hem the pants.
The design of the MONPE pants and work jacket has already progressed to the stage where we can produce the first samples, so we will present the MONPE pants and work jacket first.
The stretchy Samurai Mode light jacket and Hakama pants are a true Japanese set-up. The MONPE pants and work jacket are designed as a modern version of the monpe or samue used for outdoor activities, farm work, and outdoor play.
Designed as modern "Japanese play clothes" for outdoor activities such as camping and for everyday use. It will be made of fabrics suitable for outdoor use, and scenes of outdoor use will be photographed.

The prototype Kimono gowns were also made in a different fabric called "Kimono Coat (tentative name)," which is very elegant and can be worn with KUDEN clothing or over a traditional kimono.
The luxurious Kimono Coat made of trench coat fabric and the Kimono Rain Coat made of water repellent fabric like a raincoat. Both are tentatively named and will be crowdfunded for winter debut.

As a schedule for the new model, we have planned the following release: Since CAMPFIRE is a service only available in Japan, we will hold an order-taking event on KUDEN's website to commemorate the debut of the new model for overseas customers.
So we will be working to release the new model to both domestic and international customers at the same time.

The Japanese-style outside play clothes, MONPE pants and work jackets, are a challenge to design that is a little different from KUDEN's previous clothing designs. These clothes are the first in a series of "KUDEN Labo" projects, in which experimental designs are created together with customers. Crowdfunding will be started before the first sample is produced, and the results will be published in our newsletter and activity reports.
The fabrics and colors that have been narrowed down to the final candidates are announced. This is a new attempt to make fabrics and colors that are well received by customers into future KUDEN standard products. Therefore, the fabrics and colors chosen by customers may become prototypes. (It may later become a standard item!)
As a rare prototype, I myself cherish and use the first Samurai Mode Jacket triacetate model, which has a different fabric texture from the standard model.

Let's create together a taste that KUDEN has never had before.

Further premiere!
Two more new models are coming out!
The first is the casual "Samurai Mode Shirt II Chill" made of linen-like fabric from the very popular Samurai Mode Shirt II, which will debut on the official website soon.
The Mode Japanese-style silhouette of the Shirt II has been transformed into a linen-like, easy-care, more casual shirt that is lovely when worn with the new MONPE pants for a laid-back, relaxed look. Please let us know your favorite color variations of this "Samurai Mode Shirt II Chill" as a fun part of "KUDEN Labo".

The second new model is a V-neck T-shirt with pockets! The pockets come in two types: plain and patterned fabric used for Hakkake Skirt and so on.
Plain V-neck T-shirts with Japanese patterned breast pockets will accentuate the design.
