Attention -Coated canvas has the feature that resistant to stain and also not easy to lose their color but there is a possibility that causes losing color/bleeding if keep fabric with water. Please wipe of water and dirt as soon as possible.

-Even if it’s dry, there is a possibility that cause losing color when rub against fabric.

-If color move to fabric of bag, please wipe off softly by wet soft cloth or Melamine Sponge. It depends on the kinds of stains but you can remove stains by eraser.
If you scrub strongly, it may wear down coating.

-Let’s enjoy time-related, some dirt and change as your originality.

-Each bag is made by artisan’s hand, not a machine, so there are an individual differences. Please understand it before purchase.

Collaboration model between Italian Design Award wining designer and welfare service business for disabled people “Hanpu Studio YUI”


The Multi Shoulder Bag “雑嚢” is made of the special coated canvas that used for high-class bag lavishly.
It’s different with general nylon or canvas fabric, they have lustrous texture like leather. Both casual and formal outfits fits with it as fashion style.
Also different with leather, it’s easy to care for daily use because it resistant to water. (But not full waterproof)

These days, the feature-rich bag and the bag had speciality for something, e.g. camera, are popular in market. But we cut the function to the utmost limit and make it simplest to be suitable for any situation and fashion style.

The idea of design is modern “雑嚢”(Zatsunou).
雑嚢 is the shoulder bag used around end of Meiji period to Taisho period (about 1912) and also at that time, people wore both kimono and western style clothes as usual outfit.
This bag is designed with being good both with Samurai Mode series and other usual fashion style in mind.

It has 2 color variation, black and white. Both bags are for unisex and inside color is red.
The size is about 35cm×22cm, you can put 13 inch laptop and A4 documents.
Putting your stuff, taking it easy from bag, it’s a useful to not only daily life but also for travel scene and so on.

We can not come true this right now but this collaborated shoulder bag is our first step for our mission. Manufacturer is artisans in the welfare service business for disabled people. Whats "雑嚢"&"書生"

[What is 雑嚢 - Zatsunou - ?]
It means Japanese bag that put miscellaneous in.The shoulder bag used around end of Meiji period to Taisho period (about 1912) is called Zatsunou. Also that time, people wore kimono as usual outfit. When designer Tak think about “what bag is good for Samurai Mode Series?”, the idea comes from it.

[What is -書生- Shosei]
Shosei is the student staying at home someone they know and study a lot in Meiji - Taisho period (about 1868 - 1926)They wore uniform and kimono, carried their stuff in shoulder bag.

Using the special coated canvas that used for high-class bag lavishly

We adapt this fabric because it’s water-resistant, doesn’t discolor and surface hardness is good. It double-layer laminated polyurethane film on based cotton canvas fabric. By bumpy on surface by color and lustre, it makes more three-dimensional effects of material, appear deeply color. Its lustre likes leather one. This classy style is good match to both formal and casual outfits.

Cut the function to the utmost limit and make it simplest

These days, the bag has many function with partition and also there are many specific to some way like camera bag. But we deliberately remove the specification to be suitable for any situation and fashion style.

About Hanpu Studio YUI

Slogan is “Fulfilling for living and working by disabled people”

HIKARI AKEBONO EN is welfare service business for disabled people based on Hikari city in Yamaguchi prefecture.

Hanpu Studio YUI started with members who are good at sewing and embroidery in HIKARI AKEBONO EN. They make bags made of canvas. A lot of people are amazed by their bag with their heart, warm design and color and also their technique.

They put hope in the the bag, “If YUI bag connect us with you.”

Our Designer Tak also use YUI bag in his daily life and feel their good technique. When he designs shoulder bag, he have a strong thoughts to order the bag to YUI and now actualize this collaboration model.

Also they took part in KUDEN Charity in 2021 as artisans. We did interview with staff Ms.Azagami. ※Japanese only

シンプルでかわいい

迷った末、白を購入しました。手に取って超テンション上がりました。サイズもちょうどよくて、本と手帳、筆記具とPC、携帯とか諸々…お仕事セットがピッタリ入りました。個人的には、このデザインベースでPCケース・ペンケースあたりも欲しいです。
